We invite you to come join us at the Hut for delicious, typical Caribbean cuisine and freshly squeezed sugar cane juice. And that’s not all, we also host rum tastings and Caribbean cooking demonstrations once a week.
The Jerk Hut: The Place to Be
Our guests can find The Jerk Hut down on the Splash pool deck, right next to the lazy river. We’re featuring brand new menu items, including our popular jerk chicken and jerk pork dishes, the namesakes of the restaurant!
The Jerk Hut also features a unique juicing machine, so you can wash that savory jerk chicken down with a glass of fresh-squeezed sugar cane juice. The Hut’s menu is an amazing extra lunch option for guests looking to add more authentic, Caribbean flair to their vacations.
Rum Tastings, Cooking Demonstrations, and More
Of course, no immersive Caribbean experience is complete without a little local rum, like Bounty and Chairman’s Reserve. We host rum tastings every week, so we hope you’ll join us.
Make sure you also come for our Caribbean cooking demonstrations, hosted by the talented and entertaining Chef Martha. Each week, Chef Martha puts on cooking demonstrations for guests by the Splash pool. She will show you the ins and outs of cooking all your favorite Caribbean dishes. Warning: You might just want to re-create these delicious dishes every day while you are back home!
One especially unique thing about Saint Lucian cooking is the creative use of coal pots in preparing food—they’re among Chef Martha’s favorite cooking tools! Our demonstrations are very informal, so feel free to come and go as you wish. But we’ll warn you—after you taste her cooking, you may never want to leave!
