Ensuring Everyone’s Health
We’re working hard to make sure that everyone on our property is healthy and need your participation as well. Our staff will undergo daily temperature and symptom checks. We will also take your temperature on arrival and again daily during your stay. In the event anyone exhibits COVID-19 symptoms, they will be sent to a respiratory clinic while their family is safely isolated in a resort room. Please also be aware that the Government of Saint Lucia currently requires you to provide a negative COVID-19 test taken seven days prior to arriving. Maintaining a Safe Distance
Your Coconut Bay vacation will be as wonderful as ever but it will look a little different as we adhere to the Government of Saint Lucia, WHO and CDC operational guidelines during these ever-evolving times. However, with 85 acres of paradise, it’s easy for Coconut Bay to provide space for you to social distance and to enjoy our exotic island landscape. In cases where you cannot maintain a distance of at least six feet, you are required to wear a mask. We have rearranged our resort to provide ample space between diners, pool and beach lounge chairs, and individuals in yoga classes and other activities.
We allow only two guests at a time on the elevator, or your family group sharing a room; three guests at a time in the Boutique Moule A Chique; and one guest at a time in the Kilibwi Gift Shop.
Keeping the Resort Clean
We have evaluated and enhanced our rigorous cleaning procedures putting in place new sanitation and social distancing protocols that will be visible from the moment you arrive and will be seen throughout your stay. There are electrostatic sprayers, even more hand sanitizing stations, and though hugs and handshakes are not an option for now, our warm Saint Lucian smiles and hospitality will always be yours. We are following the CDC’s protocols for cleanliness, disinfecting guest rooms and other hotel areas thoroughly.
Upon arrival, we spray the handles of your luggage with disinfectant, disinfect our counters between guests, and provide everyone with a personal copy of the Weekly Breeze, which includes all of our activity and restaurant schedules.
Providing Private Experiences
In our restaurants, guests will only share a table if they’re also sharing a room. We are replacing buffet dining with off the menu, individually plated options. You may also use our new take-out option for select dining venues and enjoy our famous flavors in the comfort of your room.
