Coconut Bay offers a long list of ways to enjoy the ocean that basically reaches your front door when you vacation at the resort. The resort acts as the perfect jumping-off point to explore the lush tropical island. The resort has designed many exciting excursions to show you the island and surrounding waters. The location of Coconut Bay is the perfect springboard, on the south coast of Saint Lucia. From this location, you and your guide or instructor and other guests can easily explore the most beautiful features nature has to offer.
Coconut Bay’s Mile of White Sand Beach
When you’re not taking part in one of the tempting Coconut Bay sea excursions, you can simply enjoy the water from the beach. Have a bite at the nearby Beach Grill and spend an afternoon picnicking, sunning and walking the resort’s mile of white sand beach. With the Atlantic breezes wafting over your body, the palms swaying softly above, and the waves tickling your toes—you’ll be in heaven. You and your significant other can even get a couple’s massage treatment in a private beach cabana, only steps from the lapping waves. It’s just another great way to enjoy the waters at Coconut Bay.
The Pools
The Coconut Bay resort property is dotted with pools conveniently located throughout its deluxe 80+ acre site. As you spend your leisurely vacation days and evenings at the resort, take a refreshing dip in one of the six expansive swimming pools. There’s a quiet adult’s only pool, and one pool actually features its very own swim-up bar!
At the Activity Pool, you can partake of a game of water volleyball and enjoy other group games, often led by the resort’s entertainment team. Water aerobics is a popular pastime among the resort guests at this pool, located between our Harmony and Splash wings.
Coconut Bay pools and beach offer evening entertainment poolside as well as near the beach. The fun includes talented local musicians and DJs to help you dance the night away near the glittering water. Our adult-only pool for guests over 18 offers an intimate atmosphere with daybeds and cabanas for lounging with your favorite exotic beverage refreshment. The adult pool fun can be had at the resort’s adult-only Harmony Wing.
Some pools are designated as family pools and located near the family side, the Splash wing at Coconut Bay, or in the marvelous on-site water park. Surrounded by shady palm trees on the Splash side of the resort, the family pool delights kids with waterfall features, a fountain and fun foot massagers. Spend the afternoon swimming, floating or tossing beach balls!
Enjoy the On-Site Waterpark
At Saint Lucia’s largest Waterpark, enjoy the sedate and entertaining Lazy River ride and the park’s two exhilarating slides. There’s also a special water playground for little ones, complete with water cannons for splashing new friends! The Twister slide takes you through two exciting curves ending in a cool splash pool. The twisting and turning Coconut Cannon water slide is fully enclosed for scream-inducing thrills.
