What is your favorite resort activity at Coconut Bay? We’re partial to the crystal clear waters, paintball challenges, and dance parties with mascots Coco and Loco. We asked a few guests what they love about visiting our little corner of paradise and were overwhelmed by their answers! Here are four top reasons to visit Coconut Bay, as told by kids and parents alike.
Tie Dying T-Shirts
Some of the best souvenirs are the ones you make yourselves! Parents and kids put on plastic protective clothing and then start dunking. Kids can choose what colors they want, how to roll their shirts for creative tie-dye patterns, and when their masterpieces are finished. The best part is that you can rock your tie-dyed creation months after you leave Coconut Bay, so you will always have a piece of Saint Lucia with you.
This is a weekly activity scheduled by Coconut Bay Kidz Klub, and you do need to sign up to participate.
Watching the Rubber-Duck Race
Guests come from around the world to watch our rubber ducks compete weekly in the ultimate athletic feat at the Coconut Bay Splash wing! Pick the duck you think will win and cheer him or her on as they race through Cocoland to victory. If your duck doesn’t win, don’t worry, you can always cheer for them again next time or pick a different competitor who likes they have what it takes.
Wednesday Night Hayrides
The days at Coconut Bay are packed with action. Between zipping down slides in Cocoland and snorkeling with sea turtles and anemones, the whole family can start to feel exhausted by the end of the day.
Once a week, when the sun goes down, you can gather your family and climb aboard for a hayride! You can sit back and watch the stars shine above Saint Lucia, share your favorite memories from the day or make smores with your companions.
Friday Movie Nights
Another favorite weekly activity is our Friday night movies on the Splash lawn. Mascots Coco and Loco will pick some of their favorite flicks and watch them with all their friends. Curl up after a fun day and watch Moana on the projector screen, or see if Dory and Marlin can find Nemo (after you already found him in ocean earlier that day).
Everyone has their own favorite activity to share about their time at Coconut Bay because there’s something different for everyone! A great plus is that KIDZ KLUB organizes at least 3 evening activities for the kiddos per week so Mom and Dad can have the opportunity to dine on their own if they would like. Kids are cared for during these evening activities at no additional charge as its part of the premium all-inclusive coconut bay experience.
