What are the age requirements for the resort?

Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa is divided into two wings. Our Splash wing welcomes guests of all ages while our Harmony wing welcomes adult guests 18 and older.

Are airport transfers included and how close are you to the international airport?

Transportation to and from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) is included for all guests of Coconut Bay. When you arrive at the airport and clear customs and immigration, proceed outside to the Coconut Bay welcome desk. A resort representative will greet you at the Coconut Bay kiosk and coordinate your included transportation to the resort. Visit the front desk for detailed information on your departure shuttle. Regional and inter-Caribbean flights arrive at SLU airport, and transfers are not included from SLU airport.

What alcoholic beverages are included?

At our 7 bars, you’ll find a wide selection of premium, top-shelf liquors and wine. Heineken beer and the local beer ‘Piton’ is served on tap. The legal drinking age in Saint Lucia is 18. Non-alcoholic beverages including sodas and juices are also available at all bars.

Are beach and pool towels provided for the resort’s guests?

Yes, there are beach and pool towels available at our towel huts around the resort.

When is Check-in & Check-out?

Check-in starts at 3:00 pm. Check-out by 11:00 am. Late check outs are subject to availability and fees apply. Changing rooms and showers are available in the lobby bathrooms so guests can enjoy all resort facilities until their departure.

How many pools are there on resort?

Our 5 pools around the resort include a swim-up pool, no entry pool, adults-only pools and a lazy river, part of the water park with 2 water slides. There are also 2 hot tubs on resort. No lifeguards on duty, swim at your own risk. Swim-up pool: 0 entry, 2′6″, 3′9″. Lazy River: 3′9″. Pool next to lazy river: 4′1″. Bottom pool – Slides: 3′6″. Top/plunge pool – Slides: 4′0″. Main Pool: 3′6″. Adult Pool: front 2′6″; back 3′6″.

What are the guest room amenities for Harmony and Splash?

How can I make dinner reservations?

Dinner reservations can be booked upon arrival on resort and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Dinner reservations desk is located in the lobby. Dinner reservations will only be made in advance for guests who book Concierge accommodations in the Harmony or Splash wing.

What is the restaurant dress code?

Coconut Walk and Trattoria: Casually Caribbean attire (shorts and flip-flops acceptable). Shirts & shoes required. No wet bathing suits. La Luna, Silk, Calabash, Veranda, Seasons and The Greathouse: Smart resort wear. Not permitted in Silk and Calabash: gym shorts, beach flip flops, bathing suit attire, cut off jeans, sleeveless shirts for men, or baseball hats. Applies to adults and children 12+.

What is included with CocoLand Kidz Klub?

CocoLand Kidz Klub caters to children 12 and under, including babies, at no additional fee. We offer a variety of daily supervised activities from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Nighttime activities are also available for children 3 and up Monday – Friday. Reservations are not required, but encouraged for night activities. Read more here.

Can I arrange private babysitting services?

Yes, private babysitting services are available for a fee. For details and hourly rates, please contact CocoLand Kidz Klub on resort or email Cocoland@cbayresort.com to book in advance. Please note that 24 hour advanced notice is required.

Can I bring a car seat?

Car Seats can be requested and are subject to availability. Should guests require a car seat, they are encouraged to bring their own.

Why is Kitesurfing so popular in Saint Lucia?

Within an hour of landing in Saint Lucia, water sports enthusiasts can be flying on the ocean at Coconut Bay’s kitesurfing center (Surf Shack) where constant prevailing winds create one of the world’s best wind sport destinations. Is Paintball offered?

Yes! Coconut Bay offers the island’s only resort paintball course, and games are available for guests 13 and older. Inquire at the tour desk in the lobby to schedule your match. Paintball packages are charged per person. Operating hours vary by season. Paintball is included for Splash Concierge Premium guests.

Does the resort offer shopping on site?

We have multiple shopping opportunities for our guests: Duty-free Boutique Moule Chique (2nd floor, upstairs lobby); Kilibwi Corner Store (ground floor end of lobby, left); Harry Edwards Jewelers (lobby). Local crafters and artisans on Tuesdays & Saturdays; Cash only for local vendors.

What is provided for me to store my valuables?

Electronic safes are provided in every resort room to store valuables, passports, currency and small electronic devices.

Are Taxes & Tips included?

Standard taxes and gratuities are included in your room rate. There is a Saint Lucia government Tourism Levy of $6 per adult and $3 per child 12-17 which is not included in the rate and will be collected upon arrival. Additional taxes apply for excursions, spa services and private events. While gratuities are not expected, guests may choose to award our staff additionally for exceptional service.

What voltage should I expect in the rooms?

All rooms feature 110V and 220V outlets. Some guests prefer to bring power strips for additional device charging.

How tall do you need to be to ride the Water Slides?

Riders should be 48 inches tall and able to swim or they can ride with a parent.

What Currency is Best to Bring to the Resort?

All prices at the resort are quoted in US Dollars and USD is widely accepted on the island. For excursions, the resort team can advise. The reception team can exchange USD to EC Dollars (local currency) at the day’s rate (USD only).

Does the resort offer Wi-Fi Access?

Coconut Bay offers free standard Wi-Fi in the lobby and in rooms. Enhanced/Premium access for multiple devices is available for a daily fee; ask the Front Desk for details.

How does the resort accommodate allergies & dietary restrictions?

Upon check in, you will be asked if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions and our culinary team will be happy to assist. We offer dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian or vegan options in all of our dining venues.

Are there self-service laundry services on site?

We have free self-service laundry facilities – guests can purchase detergent on resort or bring their own.

What is the Smoking Policy?

Smoking (including vaping and e-cigarettes) is permitted in designated outdoor areas but it is never permitted in the rooms or the lobby.

Do you recommend purchasing Travel Insurance?

In the unlikely event you are forced to cancel or interrupt your trip due to weather or health-related emergency, we strongly recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance. By having an IMG iTravelInsured travel protection plan, you could be reimbursed up to 100% of your trip interruption costs in the event of severe weather or other covered reasons.

Is there any online documentation for us to complete prior to arrival in Saint Lucia?

To expedite your arrival and process through Saint Lucia Customs and Immigration, we recommend completing the Saint Lucia Online Arrival Form up to 3 days prior to travel on Saint Lucia’s website.
