b'Coconut Bays Enduring Support for St. Jude HospitalAt the heart of our corporate social responsibility lies a deep and enduring partnership with St. Jude Hospital, a key health-care provider for the south of Saint Lucia.Recognizing the important role the hospital plays in the lives of our staff, their families, and the wider community, Coconut Bay has become a steadfast and dedicated supporter, with a particular focus on the well-being of the youngest patients in the Pediatric Ward.O ur relationship with St. Jude began in 2009, during a time of crisis for the hospital following a dev-astating fire that forced its relocation.This initial support laid the foundation for a more structured and impactful partnership.In 2015, we formalized our commit-ment by officially adopting the Pediatric Ward through a Memo-randum of Understanding (MOU).This MOU served as a power-ful symbol of our long-term dedication, solidifying our pledge to provide consistent and meaningful support to ensure children in Saint Lucia receive the highest quality care.Over the years, Coconut Bay has contributed to St. JudeHospital in numerous ways, addressing both immediate needs and long-term improvements. In 2023, during our 18th-anniver-sary celebration, Chairman Gary Butch Hendrickson an-nounced a pledge of $100,000 specifically designated for the purchase of critical medical equipment, including a stationary Infant Incubator crucial for stabilizing fragile infants, an Infant Transport Incubator necessary for transferring infants needing specialized care, an Infant Resuscitator critical for immediate respiratory support, an Infant Warmer vital for keeping infants warm and stable, a pediatric Cardiac Monitor indispensable for identifying and responding to cardiac issues, a Digital Pedi-atric Tray Scale fundamental for tracking growth and develop-ment, and other essential tools for saving lives and improvingdonate essential items such as linens, blankets and toys.
